Ever since we made our very own granola we've decided to play around and create some fun recipes with it using our Coconut Butter products! These granola bars were so easy to make and have many variations! We made them in the recipe below with our Honey Pecan Pie and dry pineapple, but Vanilla Cake Batter with cranberries or Dark Chocolate Fudge with chocolate chips are also great combinations!
1 Cup Granola (see our recipe for homemade granola here)
1/2 Cup Honey Pecan Pie
1/2 Cup Dates
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
1/4 Cup Dry Pineapple (or other dry fruit)
-Chop dates in food processor about a minute.
-Gather all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and combine them together with a spoon
-In a squared 9x9 dish or loaf pan place a sheet of parchment paper and then pour mixture into it. Be sure to press down firmly to make sure the granola mix is spread out evenly and flat.
-Refrigerate 20 minutes and then cut bars with a knife and enjoy!
